Whew, up to panel 7 now. This is taking a while, mostly because I keep second-guessing the color sequences, the woeful decision to dye some of my own colors, and my recent knitting binge. You may notice that I swapped out some of the colors in the earlier panels–mostly removed some oranges and browns to keep things a little fresher. As I was ripping out the sewing, I thought to myself “I gotta get checked out for OCD.”
Three posts in one night. I never have time to post anymore, it seems. Among other things I’m working on a confidential project (not craft related), will post more when it goes public.

Looking good! I also ‘waste’ time to go back if I know it will really bug me. I like the color combos you have. My favorite square is the green once with the light blue center on the bottom-middle.
i love your babette… i keep telling myself i will get around to it! are you following the pattern for the stripes within each block, or are you just changing colors when you feel like it?
Thanks! I’m mostly following the pattern stripes, except where my yarn colors seem kind of ugly together. If I do this again with substitute yarn again, I’m going to make sure the colors go together and not worry so much about matching the picture.
Your Babette looks lovely. Love your color combination.
I randomly came across your blog (which is like a fraternal twin to my own), and I love your afghan. I’ve been wanting to make one similar to it for awhile now.
