Desert photography is tricky! The light is so harsh, what little color there is washes out. Here are my best attempts:


After a while I realized that black and white works better given the lighting conditions.

Your photos look great! The red is so red. Isn’t the desert amazing!
Your photos are incredible. We visited Arizona several years ago in the spring and the colors were just incredible….it was quite a shock to come home after a week there.
Love your black and whites especially - it really reveals the strong structure in a way that color does not.
